This was my first visit to this fishery, heard some good things from other anglers on the bank and read some great reviews online.

First impressions was of a very tidy and well organised fishery,  with good car parking and cctv, and speaking to the Steve in the office, the information and guidance was second to none, also with  a good choice of bait for sale.

The banks were spotless, access to waters excellent; pegs are of a good size and good spaces in-between.  All pegs of good standing with features (reeds and lily pads) also islands and aireators on both pools can be reached by poles and feeders.   

I fished the larger of the pools, as I was told hold the larger Tench. It was a very windy cold morning, a lot of places had fished since we have had this bad weather started of slow and improved later afternoon early evening, and after speaking to a few locals on the water today was properly going to be the same.

I found a sheltered corner and started on the pole,  there was a shelf that  run from the bank to about six feet deep and levelled out, that was for the whole water and similar shelves lead up to the islands. This shown on pictures of the pool before the water was added, you can see them in the tackle shop.

All in all this is a very professional run fishery, which is ideal for anglers who take their fishing seriously.  In my opinion this is not an easy to fish over stocked water, and it takes a little bit of skill and patience but the reward is well worth it, with an excellent stamp of fish on offer.
