Lark Pool

Meadow View Fisheries (Warrington) 15th April 2011

This is a great looking fishery, well kept and in excellent condition, hot and cold drinks are available and food, with bait and toilets all in the same building. There was no litter and all pegs were of a high standard and access to all water’s well kept. Ample parking is available just a short walk from each water.

The staff are very approachable and gave good advice and more than helpful. Day tickets are £7 (well worth it) and open from 07:00.

On the day I fished Lark, a lot of good fish were taken by myself and other anglers using varied methods, carp 4lb to 18lb were taken with bream showing here and there. Myself and other anglers taking fish up in the water on the deck, in the margins, on feeder, on pole and waggler using corn 6mm pellet and 4mm pellet loose feed. Fish were being taken all depths and most lengths on these methods.
